QWhat is the tuition for the 5th year if I haven’t fulfilled graduation requirements by the end of the 4th year?: A
The tuition in the fifth year will be charged on a per-credit basis. The rate is JPY11,000 per credit. If you take more than 31 credits, you will be charged the full annual tuition of JPY350,000.
QCan I split the annual tuition into 2 installments, one for spring and the other for fall?: A
No. We only accept a one-time full payment.
QWhat is your policy when receiving requests for accommodation for students with disabilities before and after enrollment?: A
Requests for accommodation for students with disabilities (reasonable accommodation) are handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with OUS guidelines and policy below. Please visit the links below for details:

QAre university-affiliated educational loans available for this program?: A
A university-affiliated educational loan called “Tuition Support Plan” is available from Orient Corporation (Orico). An educational loan called “Government Educational Loan” is available from Japan Finance Corporation (JFC), a government-affiliated financial institution. We recommend contacting them directly for details.
QIs the Japan Student Service Organization (JASSO) scholarship available for this program?: A
The “Grant-Type Scholarship “ (Kyufu-Shogakukin) and tuition reduction and exemption plans are available from the Japan Student Service Organization (JASSO) as OUS is recognized by JASSO. However, we recommend visiting their website for individual eligibilities and other requirements.
QDoes tuition include textbooks?: A
No. The cost of textbooks are not included in tuition. Our school fees include application fee of JPY 10,000 (paid at the time of application), admission fee of JPY30,000 (paid once during the initial enrollment procedures) and annual tuition of JPY350,000.
Required textbooks vary by courses and students need to purchase them as instructed. Most textbooks are digital. Approximate cost of textbooks (38-44 credits) for the 1st year level is JPY13,000 for the spring term and JPY5,000 for the fall term.
QWhat are included in the school fees?: A
Our school fees include the application fee of JPY10,000 (paid at the time of application), admission fee of JPY30,000 (paid at your first year in the program) and annual tuition of JPY350,000. You can earn up to 22 credits per semester and to 44 credits per academic year.
QDo I need to take a traditional entrance exam for this online program?: A
No. There is no traditional entrance exam. Applicants submit the required application documents and we holistically review the documents for admission decisions.
