My research focuses on the control of transport phenomena under high magnetic fields, leveraging mechanical engineering methodologies and numerical simulations. I pioneered the development of the world’s first magnetic levitation growth method for protein crystals and am currently taking on the challenge of measuring thermophysical properties. Furthermore, I am actively engaged in medical data science using statistics and data mining, striving to visualize the underlying factors within complex medical data.

There are three key pillars to my research. The first is Numerical Analysis. I work on algorithms that solve massive systems of linear equations quickly, which is vital for predicting complex phenomena. Many classical statistical procedures rely on the assumption of normality. My research focuses on tests for normality, aiming to assess whether observed data are consistent with a normal distribution. In particular, I seek to integrate formal statistical tests with graphical diagnostics and to develop a systematic framework for visualizing distributional features such as skewness, kurtosis, and tail behavior.
